InTENsity 10 - Features
The InTENsity 10 pre-set Tens Unit: Programs
The programs in the InTENsity 10 tens stimulator are somewhat different from the other tens units which I have seen. Rather than the standard modes we see, or the traditional Chinese medicine themes, the modes are all for specific body areas.
There are ten preset therapuetic programs, and they are as follows: neck, shoulder, mid back, lower back, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Each mode has a fixed speed and pulse width, so it isn't as adjustable as some other units on the market.
This device seems to be one of the strongest tens machines.
Dual Isolated Channels
The InTENsity 10 tens device has dual isolated channels. This means that you can set a different mode for each channel, which especially makes sense if you are using one mode for one part of your body and another mode for a different part.
The intensity levels may be adjusted according to your need and comfort. Amplitude refers to the power or intensity level, and on that note the specifications for the device say: 0~105mA peak at 1000 ohm Load each channel, 1mA/Step.
The timer can be set for increments of 15, 30, 60 minutes, and continuous. A lot of people seek out units that have a continuous function, which just means that the device will continue running without a timer or auto-shut off.
Ease of Use
Right in the description it says that this is an “easy-to-use device” evidently all it takes is the press of two buttons to get the machine up and running, and that does sound pretty easy to me. One of the specific features of the product is “2-button operation” which is pretty impressive, although I must note that the unit appears to have more than two buttons altogether.
Aside from buttons the InTENsity tens unit also has a display which will tell you the details you need to know, such as the timer and mode. Units that don't have screens are always a little harder to navigate because you are basically trying to operate the unit in the dark.
How to Use InTENsity 10 Tens Unit

Mobility and Size
The dimensions of this current solutions tens unit are 4.5" x 2.55" x 0.9” and it weighs .28 pounds loaded with a battery. Overall the unit is pretty small and compact; Roscoe Medical also brands their own device as “portable” and I definitely tend to agree.
When you receive the device it includes a carrying case designed specifically for the machine, and I don't see a lot of tens devices out there that come with cases. That seems to be one amenity of Roscoe Medical.
Clearly having a carrying case makes the unit more portable too, because it means that you just have to pack it up into the case along with all of its accessories and you are ready to leave home.
9V Battery + AC Adapter
One really cool feature that I like a lot about this unit is the fact that you can load it up with batteries or simply plug it into the wall—the choice is yours. I haven't seen too many tens machines that let you to do both, and this is one quality that a lot of people really like.
This transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation device uses a standard 9V battery in case you don't want to or can't plug it into the wall. For the most part, however, you would probably just use the AC adapter to charge the unit so that you don't have to buy new batteries all the time.
When you obtain the unit you will receive the carrying case, 2 sets of electrode leads, 9-volt alkaline battery, AC adapter, manual, and a pack of 8 self-adhesive reusable electrodes. You will be all set as soon as the product is delivered to you.
There are better warranties than this one-year warranty which can be found in the Tens market, but on the other hand there are also much shorter warranties. I think this the one-year warranty is pretty acceptable.
Tens Machine Price
This unit is not available on amazon.com but can be found on other big online stores like amazon.ca and costco.com. Overstock.com was selling it for $49.49, but it wasn’t available while we were reviewing this product.
Aside from that, it can be found on tenspros.co for $39.95, Costco is selling it for $97.99, otcwholesale.com is selling it for $44.95, and it is $39.95 on newegg.com.
